Sure, we stopped by to check out all the cool new pedals that Electro-Harmonix was introducing at Summer NAMM, but nothing topped meeting and getting to interview the generous and genial Mike Matthews, company founder and (basically) inventor of the transistor distortion circuit. For someone so approachable, it's amazing to hear about the artists and industry innovators Mike Matthews worked with and influenced when starting out in New York in the late 1960's -- a good time and place to be for rock.

Continuing where we left of in the last tutorial it's time to add some bass to the Prodigy-style beat. I'll be adding three different instances of Mojito to get a fat sound. After which they are glued together in a bus channel with sidechained compression, an EQ to create some room in the mids and a little distortion to add some dirt. The levels may not yet be ideal, but I'll get to that in a later stadium. If you've got questions about this, or other tutorials, just post a comment and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
