The TC Electronic Polytune is the new kid on the block in pedal tuner technology. Featuring a patented polychromatic tuning circuit, the TC Electronic Polytune eliminates the need to go string to string while tuning. Just turn it on and strum all of your open strings and the TC Electronic Polytune shows you which strings are sharp or flat and allows you to tune within +/- .5% accuracy. This eliminates a good chunk of time when tuning between songs and lets people visually see the affect of say a floating bridge when tuning string to string. Not only does this help get a grasp on tuning your instrument effectively, it lets you know right away what string is out of tune. The TC Electronic Polytune features a standard chromatic tuner as well that is super fast and reliable thanks to the unique tuning magnet feature. This allows the TC Electronic Polytune to adjust the speed of the tuning needle dependant on how close or far away you are from pitch.

Short demo of some basic functions of my Lemur DJ template. I am using a Jazzmutant Lemur and Ableton Live, which are linked by APIMidi, standard MIDI mappings and some AU plugins. Aditionally a custom c++ app does all the stuff that is impossible with Live only (waveform display, loop functions). Goal of the project was/is to play without the laptop visible. I am additionally using a Behringer BCR controller for the filters, effects and also for all the buttons... more about that in the next video.

If you weren't really feeling the need to have an old Roland TR-727, maybe this could change your mind. Diabolical Devices has modified this Latin percussion version of the 707 to have pitch mods for nearly every sound, a few global bends and a cymbal delay bend. You can turn the individual bends on and off. There's also an insane banana plug patch bay on the left hand side allowing you to link various bending points that's not even in this video.
