Unlike other Ring Modulators, the Frequency Analyzer has controllable high order filters that reduce cross distortions and enhance the variations. The course and fine control let the user set a single frequency that will then be both added and subtracted from the original note or chord. Blend control lets you mix the new notes with the original. This is a must esoteric pedal, especially for techno cats. Devo had their biggest hit using the Frequency Analyzer.

From the Winter Namm 2007 to the latest Musikmesse, You can see the Zarenbourg. That's right, this is a physical modeled Rhodes type piano. It is digital. Why would they design an instrument in such a large case when they could easily put it into a small rackmount. Well, it must be the vibe. Also the little speakers are a nice touch. Note: The booth next to Waldorf at the show was playing really loud hip-hop beats. Stay tuned until the end of the video when Axel actually starts jamming with them.

Chris from UCSD emails us with a patch in Max/MSP and accompanying video in which he uses a single audiocube to create loops. The audiocube's 4 sensors control 4 parameters of a VST instrument, which are recorded into a looping sequencer and played over the original recording, allowing the performer to create a loop quickly and shape the sound and musical patterns using has hands and fingers, like a piece of clay.
