SoftStep is a leap forward in the portability and functionality of footpedal controllers. Weighing in at just over a pound and fitting into many laptop cases, SoftStep has limitless flexibility compared to standard footswitches. Not only usefull for Studio One but for any DAW, the eDrum midi mapper is a very cool tool for any DAW or stand alone app that does not have a drum mapping option. So if you use any of these apps as a stand alone, the eDrum midi mapper is the solution. Remember to download the Loopbe1 virtual midi port as well to use it. It's all explained in the tutorial.
