Part 2 of classic 80s beats which were originally made on a Roland TR-808 drummachine. Recreated on my Korg Electribe SX sampler / synthesizer. I overdubbed the session with some live synth & bass parts on my Juno 106 synthesizer (1984) For the drums only 808 samples and the Electribe's internal effects were used. No actual records were sampled. All recreated by ear.

Using an equalizer plug-in to brighten up an instrument can often lead to harshness. It takes some very sophisticated processing to do this smoothly. Fortunately, the Neve 1073 is up for the job.
