We return with part two of our look at the TC Electronic M-One XL with Shelly Steffens from the Empty Bottle. In our first look, we saw what exactly the processor was capable of processing. Since you can route two different reverbs or delays (or one of each) with the TC Electronic M-One XL, Shelly Steffens is back to explain how she's used it in different applications. It does have a hundred different presets to store your parameters, too, but we figured 100 videos on this powerful processor might be a little much.

While its body style may be most commonly associated with country music, the Fender Blacktop Telecaster HH was built for music of a more brutal sort. With its two over-wound humbuckers, the high-output Blacktop Tele loves gain, and churns out a far beefier low-end than the axe favored by folks like James Burton or The Boss. Not that the Blacktop Telecaster HH can't handle a wide variety of music genres, however. As Gearwire's Owen O'Malley demonstrates in this video, those pickups have depth and definition when played clean, punch and dynamics when fed through moderate levels of gain, and tons of extreme EQ when placed in front of a modern high-gain distortion like the MXR Fullbore Metal.
