Description : Andy checkes out the Schecter Tempest Standard, a true mean rock n roll machine. Schecter has taken the classic set neck mahogany bodied guitar design and updated it for a new decade for todays modern players who demand exceptional quality and completely original stylings. There are no other mid-priced instruments that command such respect as the Schecter Tempest Standard. Two Duncan Designed pickups are modeled after Duncans classic Hot-Rodded Humbucker set, and deliver rich sustain with their alnico magnets. A coil split control also gives amazing single coil tones for some true tonal diversity. So get some twang and spank along with bruising rock tones. As with other Schecter guitars, the neck scale is 24.75, with a rosewood board, and 22 medium frets. Multi-crème binding, USA Tone Pros bridges, and Grover tuners round out the Schecter Tempest Standard, for unmatched playability and tuning stability. Choose gloss black, vintage white, or a stunning vintage gold top. The Schecter Tempest Standard brings some serious tone and attitude to the stage, studio, or garage, and will set you apart from the hordes of other players rockin the double humbucking mahogany guitars. With the Tempest Standard, Schecter delivers another quality instrument for the gigging musician.
