Description : For 2010, Fender has crafted a truly innovative instrument that will provide electric Telecaster tones, 4 different acoustic guitar tones, and a blending of both of these tones. Yes, electric and acoustic sounds in one instrument. Now within a Telecaster platform you can access rich and pristine acoustic guitar tones. Strum and fingerpick acoustic songs on a modern C shaped rosewood neck with 21 medium jumbo frets and a 9.5 radius. This is not an electric guitar that approximates the sound of an acoustic guitar. It is the sound of 4 acoustic guitars at your fingertips. There is an acoustic transducer underneath the saddles of the bridge that drives Fishmans Aura System. This in turn provides 4 different digital images of acoustic sounds that are utterly real and organic. The Fender Acoustasonic also has a Twisted Tele neck pickup for classic Tele electric sounds. Best of all, you can blend these two tones in the middle position of the pickup selector. But thats not where the innovation stops. The Fender Acoustasonic Telecaster allows you to split the acoustic and electric signal into either stereo or mono. With a supplied Y cable, you can run your acoustic signal into an amp or direct, and run your electric signal into an amp.
