Description : In this video we show you how to quickly begin recording a track in Logic 9 with Apogee Quartet. If you have any questions, please contact our customer support. support@apogeedigital.com 310-584-9394 www.apogeedigital.com To follow this tutorial, you need to have Quartet, Mac OS 10.6.8 or greater, and Logic 9 Open Logic and create a new session. Click on "Preferences... Audio" Choose "Quartet" for your Output and Input device For now set the buffer to 64. For best latency you can set the buffer to 32. However, You may need to adjust the buffer higher depending on the size of the project you are working on. Make sure that "Software Monitoring" is selected. Click on "Apply Changes" and close the preferences window. In Logic, you can also customize how the I/O labels appear. This becomes very useful when setting up a session with multiple channels of I/O Click on Options... Audio... I/O Labels If you select the labels under "Provided by Driver" Quartet's I/O labels will show up in Logic's channel strip and change when you change between Mic, Line, or Instrument "User" allows you to name the Inputs and outputs anything you like.
