The Charter Oak PEQ1 is a gorgeous sounding Stereo EQ featuring wide overlapping bands that musically take a rough Jazz mix to a much more polished state. The Charter Oak PEQ1, a unique Stereo EQ, demonstrated by Mike Demming, employing wide overlapping band-pass filters all the way from 20hz to 50khz. Intended to be used as a finishing and coloration tool. The ingenious design, employs outerbands with as much as 24dB of boost and cut, whereas central bands are only 6dB (where our hearing is most sensitive). A total of 8 bands of EQ were selected with wonderfully musical overlapping bands that create tremendous coloration control, with no distortion or phase problems, and extremely impressive technical performance.
