By using the proportional Q and constant Q settings on the Tonelux EQ4P, you can grab that boosted-lows, cut-lows effect from the old Pultecs that had a wider boost and narrow cut. Boosting and cutting a the same time allowed a double bump in the low end that sounded very fat.

Tonelux Mp1A Discrete Mic Pre with TILT
The MP1A is an all discrete Mic Pre with both XLR Mic level inputs as well as an unbalanced instrument input. The MP1A has a VU meter and a Peak LED that work independently of each other. There is also the now famous TILT control (TM) that adds or subtracts a minute amount of low or highs.
