The Schecter Solo Special takes you to a time when all you needed was a slab of mahogany and some hot pickups to get your ya-yas out. This vintage vibe instrument is the perfect rock machine for the garage rockers, the heartbreakers, the old school punks, and everyone in between. This set rosewood neck guitar has 22 medium frets, 24.75 scale, and a Tone Pros bridge for superior resonance and tone. Ultra Access lets you bend up all the way on these 22 frets. The Schecter Solo Special is a real rock n roll hotrod, and delivers some snarling tone with its Duncan Designed HB102b pickup, which is modeled after Duncans JB pickup. The neck pickup, the Duncan Designed P-100n is a noiseless P90 style pickup, for some real vintage growl. There is also a coil split option for a real array of tones. Go from some growling and snarling 70s rock crunch to single coil spank with just the flip of a switch. This is a look and sound that screams vintage! This is a little music video in brickfilm-style for our song He Loves My Pies. This was initially thought to be a demo tune for the new ACE synthesizer turned into a pretty funny parody song. Which simply begged to be visualised with those Legos that were lurking in my closet. I couldn't resist to mix bricks with photos and 70ies style video effects though. The song was completely mixed in Logic with 24 tracks of ACE and 8 tracks for vocals. There's no EQ or anything anywhere, just a few compressors on the vocals. The photos were shot with a Canon EOS 30D SLR and grabbed with Dragon Stop Motion. Some photos were made the common way, such as the cat, the pies, the beach and the desert. These were then composited and animated in After Effects CS3. The ultimate trick for quick & dirty bluescreen technique: Use a computer monitor with a green image as a background while shooting the legos ;-) Enjoy, ;) Urs
