So I think Joe Satriani has gone a bit insane -- his new album, Professor Satchafunkilus And The Musterion Of Rock cannot be the work of a man in his right mind. Nevertheless, the new VOX Satchurator pedal is all over the new album. Mike Bradley of VOX spent a year and a half working with Joe Satriani and learning to speak his imaginary language so that they could effectively communicate ideas to develop an overdrive pedal that would provide all that Professor Satchifunkalupagus (or whatever he's calling himself nowadays) with all he'd ever want out of an OD pedal. As it turns out, once you've fully invested yourself in Satriani's backwards-land, he has some pretty rocking ideas.
